Apparently, the effort of a hero-wannabe did not materialize, for the reason being “insufficient in substance.” Perhaps because there wasn’t really enough sincerity and honesty in it, maybe it was more out of a personal interest or personal vendetta. Because of this, the impeachment attempt on Arroyo once again failed.
So what’s next? Well for one, this does not necessarily mean that the administration can now go for charter change. Please do away with the hypocrisy that this does not intend to extend the term of the incumbent. Don’t make fools of the masses! And please! Please, stop tagging God’s name in this selfish motive.

Former Jose De Venecia is doing a Chavit Singson by admitting the P500,000 Palace bribe in 2007. Do we have the making of another hero? Former accomplishes who turn their backs on their allies and blows the whistle.
Brace yourselves because we are now about to be taken again into another roller coaster ride.
I’ve seen it all before… whistle blowers parading on the street like they were some kind of iconic heroes out to save the Philippines. And being the forgetful Filipinos that we are, we never realized that they were actually part of this thing that are crusading against now.

The holiday seasons brings out the FPJ’s and Lito Lapid’s in us. Why? Because when we see a sale, we are too quick on the draw. Like the compulsive shopper that most of us are, the credit card is just like a loaded gun waiting to be pulled out from its holster and aiming it at will. Am I right or Am I right?
Chances are, because of the season, there are one too many sales to find and that plastic gun… err, card, gets swiped more often than it used to be. Until finally the credit limit is maxed out. No worries, you have another credit card. Oh, aren’t you a sly one? And then again, it will be the same story with the next credit card. Soon, you will end up with three or more cards whose credit limits are all filled up to the brim.
What do you do now? Do you really believe in that end-of-the-world thing that’s why you need to utilize your credit cards because you won’t pay for them anyway? Now you ended up with credit card debts left and right. Then like a flash of light, an idea entered your mind - balance transfer credit cards. Really getting clever, aren’t we?

With all the commotions created by Press Secretary Dureza’s controversial prayer, Vice-president Noli de Castro assured that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will step down in 2010.
We all know that De Castro is currently leading the race in the survey for the presidential election in 2010. Reason enough for him to make sure that Arroyo will indeed step down in 2010. (so he can step up?)
But I’m sure, despite all these assurances, the people on the ‘other fence’ won’t let this opportunity pass. They just found a new ‘bomb’ that they can throw at the administration, and they will definitely use it.
Can we really blame them? Remember who said time that she “will not run in the coming election” last time?
oh well, let’s just see. 2010 has more twists and turns coming I’m sure. Much worse than the inconsistent plots that we see in our telenovelas today.
