Being online most of the time can take its toll on your health… well, it does to me I admit it. And I need to start something to get back the stamina that seems to deplete being always seated in front of the computer.

And for exercise starters like me, running seems to be the popular choice as it is cheap, can be done anytime and anywhere, and does not really require any special equipment, except for a good pair of running shoes.

Mexico has officially acquired a spot in the pages of Guinness Book of World Records by making the world’s biggest cheesecake!

We all know Mexico to be popular for tacos, tequila, Mexican chili sauce and Rey Mysterio (well, he’s from Mexico). But we don’t really expect them to be recognized for their cheesecake.

Well, they are now as Carlos Martinez of Guinness World Records declared their cheesecake the world’s largest on Sunday, January 25, 2009. The event was sponsored by Kraft Foods, maker of Philadelphia cream cheese.

In a development that would remind you of Sylvester Stallone’s movie, “Stop! Or my Mom will shot!” Blazer’s center Joel Przybilla has his grandma coming in to his rescue after he was slapped a fine of $7,500 and suspended for his part in an altercation with New Orleans center Tyson Chandler. Chandler was ejected and suspended a game for throwing a punch.

And Przybilla’s grandma won’t take this sitting down. The octogenarian is planning to write NBA commisioner David Stern series of letters complaining about the fine.

“She said she is going to keep writing Stern until she hears back from him,” Pyzbilla said smiling. “And believe me, she will.”

Stern may have faced lots of tough confrontations before, but perhaps, it will be the first time he will have to deal with a grandma.

Donald Peters is a regular buyer of lottery ticket. November 1 was no different and he bought two lottery tickets on that day too. Unfortunately, on the afternoon of that same day he died of heart attack leaving his wife of 59 years and their kids.

The wife devastated, put the tickets aside. It was said that she almost threw them away, not knowing that the last act of his husband would be his estate in the form of a lottery ticket. The ticket with six odd-numbers, 02-07-09-11-27-33, won for Charlotte Peters $10 millions in the Connecticut Lottery.

Although she still doesn’t know right now whether to take the $6 million pre-tax lump sum payment or receive them in 21 yearly payment of $477,300 per year. She plans to consult an accountant and a lawyer because she doesn’t know what to do with the money.

We might think that things like this only happen in movies, this is proof that Divine providence works in ways that is really beyond our comprehensions.
