From the looks of it, Manny Pacquiao will be facing Miguel Cotto in his next bout on November 14. The Pacquia-Cotto fight has an even higher possibility because both fighters are being promoted by Top Rank chair Bob Arum.
The Puerto Rican fighter, Cotto, will be facing our Pambansang Kamao on November 14 at the MGM Grand, the same place where Pacman defeated his two greatest opponent - Oscar De La Hoya last December and Ricky Hatton just last May.
Cotto’s last fight was last June 13 at the Madison Square Garden, where a large Puerto Rican community were there to support him. He won in an unconvicing split decision over Joshua Clottey, the fight then coincided with the Puerto Rican Day parade.
Meanwhile, Shane Mosley isn’t giving up his appeal for a fight against Pacquiao. He even asked Fighthype.com to conduct a poll as to who the Filipinos would want Pacquiao to fight.
“We have the biggest names by far,” Mosley said of Pacquiao and himself.
Unfortunately, a poll on who should Pacquiao fight next at the MannyPacquiao.ph website shows Mosley only in the third place, behind Floyd Mayweather, Jr. at first place and Cotto at third place.
