While looking for something to write, I stumbled in my searches the wedding of Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez, which was this afternoon.
Maybe because we don’t have TV (it’s broken), I don’t really follow showbiz news, much more personal lives of political personalities, that’s why I wasn’t aware that the Mar-Korina wedding was today.
That explains why Manolo Quezon III tweets were like that - all about kissing, clapping, attires and personalities in attendance, because he was tweeting from the church.
Even Mar Roxas was said to have tweeted before going to the church for his wedding, as per ABS-CBN news website. He was said to have tweeted, “Thanks for the support guys. Just had my last lunch as a bachelor. En route to church with my son, my best man Paolo.”
Sponsors for the wedding include former senator Jovito Salonga, Chief Justice Reynato Puno, ABS-CBN CEO Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III, Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, Cheche Lazaro, Ruby Roxas, Rosa Rosal, Helen Costales, and Maria Fores.
Of course, in such an event like this, big names in the politics and showbiz would definitely be present like Vice President Noli de Castro, former Senate President Franklin Drilon, Batangas vice governor Mark Leviste, former Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Kris Aquino-Yap and husband James Yap among others.
The wedding which has a Filipiniana theme took place at the historic Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City.
