I wasn’t able to watch the fight because of a broken TV, and I can’t find a decent live streaming video. But I really don’t need to watch it to feel the jubilations that every one who watched it feels as I see continued streams of tweets and Facebook status, all declaring that Pacquiao defeated Cotto.
Manny Pacquiao’s victory earned him the welterweight title that Miguel Cotto currently used to have.
This removes all doubt that Pacquiao is indeed the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, winning seven world titles in as many weight division. No other boxer in history has won seven titles in seven weight division.
Congratulations Manny Pacquiao! The best pound-for-pound fighter in the world!
